Fred Meyer Location to Close at the End of June 2024.

More than ever, Industrial members are embracing the convenience of our digital services, resulting in a substantial reduction in lobby traffic. Over the past few years, even as our overall membership and our transactions have grown, member transactions in our branch locations have decreased by 33%. Industrial’s Board of Directors and management have been tracking this change to member behavior and its impact to our organization. With this reduction in branch traffic, we were presented with an opportunity to reexamine our organizational footprint in conjunction with the changing needs of our membership.

After 18 months of careful analysis and thoughtful discussion, as good stewards of the credit unions’ funds we have made the decision to close our Fred Meyer branch effective June 29, 2024. While the branch will be closing, all staff will be relocated within the organization and will continue to provide the dedicated service you have come to expect.

We have several branches nearby to serve you should you need assistance in-person:

• The Northwest Avenue branch, 1.5 miles away.
• The Ferndale branch 5.9 miles north on I-5.
• The State Street branch, 4.3 miles away.
• The Safeway branch at Sunset Square, less than 4 miles away.

In addition, Industrial Credit Union has many options for digital service. From Online Banking on desktop and app, to Mobile Check Deposits, ATMs, direct deposits, Online Bill Paying services and Online Loan Applications -you have 24/7 access to your Industrial account.
